The Senior Account Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with overseeing and nurturing client relationships and ensuring overall account satisfaction. This position is designed for individuals with a strong understanding of the industry landscape and the ability to drive business growth through strategic account management. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for key clients, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and that solutions are tailored to align with their business objectives. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to maintain client satisfaction, improve account performance, and contribute to company revenue growth. Your leadership and negotiation skills will be instrumental in achieving and exceeding client expectations, and securing long-term partnerships. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure seamless delivery of services and foster a culture of continuous improvement and business excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the management of assigned accounts, ensuring proactive and strategic account planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the client’s unique needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and cross-selling additional services and products.
  • Prepare and present business reviews and account status reports to clients and management regularly.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit while meeting client expectations.
  • Act as the point of escalation for client issues, resolving conflicts efficiently and effectively.
  • Assess client feedback and coordinate with internal departments to improve overall service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to provide knowledgeable advice to clients and anticipate their needs.
  • Lead and mentor junior account management staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align on customer strategies and support sales initiatives.
  • Ensure that all client interactions and activities comply with organizational policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in account management, with at least two in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
