Job Description

As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing financial and controlling processes within an organization. Your expertise in SAP FICO will be instrumental in optimizing business financial processes and aligning them with organizational strategies. You will engage with various stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into effective solutions within the SAP environment. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and training to ensure the smooth functioning of financial operations. Your role will require a deep understanding of SAP FICO modules, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SAP FICO implementation projects from inception to completion.
  • Design and configure SAP FICO solutions tailored to specific business needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze financial requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate users on SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on financial and controlling best practices within SAP.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including specifications and user manuals.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve SAP FICO-related issues.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance for SAP FICO modules regularly.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes within SAP systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial workflows.
  • Stay updated with SAP FICO advancements and recommend upgrades or enhancements.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting or implementation.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP FICO modules and related configurations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex financial processes.
  • Proven experience in conducting training sessions and workshops for users.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in business environments.
