Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the power sector. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by developing lucrative sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and managing a team of sales professionals. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will need to have a strong understanding of the power industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales management. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of sales representatives within the power sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans to capture these markets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to the sales team.
  • Create and oversee accurate sales forecasts and budgets in line with company goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with the product development team to align products with market needs.
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences to increase brand awareness and network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the power sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
  • In-depth understanding of market dynamics and customer relations in the power industry.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable sales plans based on findings.
