A Sales Engineer - Switchgear is a crucial member of a company’s sales team who bridges the gap between engineering and sales. Responsibilities

  • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for management review and strategy adjustment.
  • Train and support junior sales staff in understanding product technicalities and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering, specifically within the switchgear sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of switchgear products and industry applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend trade shows.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals successfully.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools for tracking activities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
