Job Description

As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales acumen. You will work closely with both the sales team and potential clients to understand their technical needs and ensure that our products or services provide the perfect solution. Your role will involve demonstrating the technical capabilities of our products, providing product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background combined with excellent communication skills to convey complex information in a way that is accessible to non-technical audiences. Your passion for technology and excellence in customer interaction will drive success in this dynamic role.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop proposals and quotes that effectively address customer needs and business concerns.
  • Assist customers during the testing and implementation phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Respond to customer queries about the technical aspects and benefits of products.
  • Create comprehensive technical documents and reports to support the sales process.
  • Maintain records of client interactions and sales processes in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to relay customer feedback and suggestions.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to promote company products.
  • Provide post-sale support and technical insights to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights.
  • Support the development of marketing material by providing technical inputs and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales position.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
