Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team's efforts by ensuring a streamlined process for handling client inquiries, managing sales data, and supporting follow-ups. This position bridges the gap between the sales team and various departments such as marketing, finance, and operations. As a key administrative figure, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining sales records, planning meetings, and preparing sales reports. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities. This role is vital for the smooth operation of the sales department, contributing to the overall success of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the sales team in their daily operational tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain sales records and generate reports regularly.
  • Manage client inquiries efficiently and communicate with the sales team promptly.
  • Organize and schedule sales meetings, presentations, and client visits.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials and proposals.
  • Ensure all sales documentation is up-to-date and in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and suggest improvements if needed.
  • Support the sales team with customer follow-ups and relationship-building activities.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies and plans.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist in sales efforts and customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail and accuracy.
