Job Description

A Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in the sales department of an organization by supporting the sales team, managing schedules, tracking sales leads, and ensuring seamless communication between the sales team and clients. They are the backbone of the sales force, enabling sales representatives to focus on maintaining excellent customer relationships and closing deals. Sales Coordinators are responsible for handling the administrative tasks associated with sales, such as order processing, maintaining databases, preparing sales reports, and coordinating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. They must be highly organized, efficient, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A successful Sales Coordinator needs to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset to effectively contribute to the achievement of sales targets.


Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the sales team with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales records regularly with accuracy.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, presentations, and appointments for the sales team.
  • Track and manage all sales leads in the pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Process orders, quotes, and invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support promotional activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and refer them to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures consistently.
  • Coordinate logistics for sales events, exhibitions, and trade shows effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to promote satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM software, and data entry applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment efficiently.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
