Job Description
The Retail Banking Officer - Credit Cards is responsible for managing the credit card portfolio and acquiring new customers. They will be responsible for promoting credit card products and services to potential clients and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with credit card policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Promote credit card products and services to potential customers.
- Acquire new customers through various channels, including cold calling and referrals.
- Conduct credit checks and assess customers' creditworthiness.
- Assist customers in completing credit card applications and ensure accurate documentation.
- Analyze customer accounts to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated on credit card industry trends, regulations, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with credit card policies and procedures.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in credit card sales or retail banking.
- Knowledge of credit card products, services, and regulations.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
