Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Regional IT Support Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users across various locations within the region. As a Regional IT Support Analyst, you will act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring the smooth running of IT systems. You will also be responsible for system administration and the implementation of IT standards and procedures. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to end-users via phone, email, or in person across the region.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and system security by implementing safety measures and schedules.
  • Collaborate with local teams to understand specific IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures at a regional level.
  • Coordinate with the central IT team for higher-level support and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure appropriate asset management.
  • Provide training and support on the use of IT resources and applications.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and take proactive actions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for all support activities and incidents.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and continuously enhance technical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in an IT support role with regional responsibilities is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Experience with network and server management, including active directory and VOIP.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.
