Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our medical imaging team. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, and providing accurate diagnoses to assist in patient care. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the most effective treatments. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology to provide the best possible care and diagnoses to our patients.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret medical imaging results to deliver accurate patient diagnoses.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to determine imaging needs and priorities.
  • Advise on the risks and benefits of different imaging techniques available.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and regular maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Provide detailed reports and explain findings to other medical staff and doctors.
  • Supervise radiologic technologists during imaging procedures to ensure safety protocols.
  • Stay updated with advancements in imaging technology and methodology.
  • Engage in continuing education activities to maintain certification and licensure.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex diagnostic cases.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, preparations, and potential findings.
  • Assist in developing new imaging protocols and procedures for improved accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during imaging practices.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a specialization in Radiology is required.
  • Valid  license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Strong background in interpreting a variety of medical imaging technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to discuss results with medical staff and patients.
  • Proven ability to make sound, accurate, and timely diagnostic decisions.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a clinical radiology environment.
  • Commitment to continuous education and training in radiological advancements.
