Project Director

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the airport development project to ensure it meets client requirements and expectations.
• Reporting to the company management board
• Based in the project site office for an airport terminal expansion project in the UAE.
• Lead and manage the multidisciplinary and multinational supervision team and design team to deliver the contracted services
• Time, Resource and Budget control, reporting and forecasting
• Managing procurement and administration of external service providers
• Managing contractual requirements

Requirements:

• Act as the Engineer in Fidic form of contract between the Employer and Contractor
• Master's Degree in Architecture or Engineering
• Professional Registration as Architect or Engineer
• 10yrs Minimum relevant Experience in Airport Projects
• 20yrs Minimum Post Graduate Professional Experience
• Experience in the role of Project Director for large scale and complex building or infrastructure project
• Strong capability to handle the contractual and commercial area
• Preferable - experience as Engineer in Fidic Construction Contract formats and Supervision consultancy services
• Preferable - Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Autocad, Office365, and project/document control systems
• Professional working proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
