Job Description

The Project Coordinator serves as the backbone of a project team, ensuring that all project-related activities are executed smoothly and in a timely manner. This individual will serve as a link between the project manager, project personnel, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and possess excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for monitoring project schedules, budgets, and reporting requirements. Their ability to multitask, manage resources effectively, and ensure compliance with project objectives is essential. A Project Coordinator’s capability to pre-emptively identify potential issues and resolve conflicts ensures that project milestones are met and all stakeholders remain informed.


Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in developing project plans and timelines.
  • Monitor day-to-day project activities and report on progress.
  • Coordinate with team members to collect project-related information and documentation.
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings, taking detailed minutes.
  • Ensure all relevant project documentation is complete and kept up-to-date.
  • Communicate timelines, schedules, and changes to all project stakeholders effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive project files to facilitate future auditing and reporting needs.
  • Support the analysis of project risk factors and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate and document post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor project financials, budget tracking, and expenditure reporting.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate project progress.
  • Liaise among various departments to ensure alignment on project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a project coordination role in a relevant industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities are required.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure project success.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
