Job Description

As a Production/Quality and Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of production schedules, quality assurance, and procurement processes within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with robust managerial skills who can oversee the entire production process, ensure compliance with quality standards, and manage supplier relationships and procurement activities effectively. The ideal candidate will be committed to driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring the timely delivery of products. By maintaining a keen eye on both production procedures and quality control measures, you will contribute to maintaining a high standard of product quality while ensuring cost-effective procurement practices.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the production schedule to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to maintain product standards.
  • Lead efforts to enhance production processes and reduce cost inefficiencies.
  • Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely supply of quality materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Implement training programs to uphold quality and production standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor production output and perform regular quality assessments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives.
  • Analyze production and procurement data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage a team of production, quality, and procurement professionals.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators for production and procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production and procurement management.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and control procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills are a must.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts effectively.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analysis software preferred.
  • Ability to oversee and optimize supply chain operations efficiently.
