Product Compliance Manager

In the role of Product Compliance Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products meet regulatory standards and internal benchmarks. You'll oversee the lifecycle of product compliance, from development through to commercialization, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, quality assurance, and legal departments, to implement comprehensive compliance strategies. Your eye for detail and understanding of regulatory landscapes will be crucial in managing compliance risks and fostering a culture of continuous compliance improvement. As a Product Compliance Manager, you will be the guardianship responsible for maintaining the integrity of our products while enhancing customer trust and satisfaction by ensuring product reliability and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance strategies to adhere to regulatory standards and benchmarks.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive compliance strategies are established and maintained.
• Oversee the lifecycle of product compliance from development through commercialization phases.
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to meet compliance objectives.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that affect product compliance and assess their impact.
• Conduct audits and assessments to ensure products remain compliant with all regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to staff to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Manage compliance risks actively, and develop plans to mitigate identified risks effectively.
• Maintain records of product compliance activities and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Respond promptly to compliance inquiries and provide expertise on complex regulatory issues.
• Coordinate with legal teams to interpret regulatory requirements and ensure company compliance.
• Evaluate new products and technologies from a compliance perspective before market introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as compliance, law, or engineering.
• A minimum of five years experience in a compliance position within a relevant industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance risks in product development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and advise teams.
• Extensive experience with compliance audits, assessments, and risk management techniques.
• Proficiency with compliance management software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
