As a
Procurement Manager you will lead sourcing activities and manage contracts to support business operations in line with the Emirates Group Procurement Policy. You will deliver maximum value through strategic procurement practices, ensuring cost efficiency and service level compliance. Acting as an account manager to designated business units, you will provide category-specific expertise and drive procurement excellence through best-in-class sourcing techniques. This role focuses on sourcing and managing contracts related to IT software, hardware, system integration, managed services and digital transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business strategic objectives and ongoing requirements
- Provide expert procurement advice during the product design phase to optimize value for money
- Plan and manage sourcing events to ensure timely and effective delivery in line with procurement policies and best practices
- Maintain a contract work program to ensure supply continuity and identify cost improvement opportunities
- Manage the full sourcing cycle: strategy development, supplier evaluation, tendering, negotiations, and contract finalization
- Maintain accurate documentation and systematically update systems for project tracking and reporting
- Promote the use and optimization of procurement systems (e.g., EPIC, iDoc, Oracle, Cat360) for process efficiency and data transparency
- Ensure smooth contract and order implementation through P2P processes, including supplier setup and creation of BPA/SPO/price lists
- Prepare Recommendations to Award (RTA), contracts, and orders in compliance with policies and authority levels
- Assess and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks throughout the sourcing process
- Support additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs and maintain operational flexibility
- Contribute to the development and execution of category strategies using market insights and spend analysis
- Develop strategies to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership for capital, goods, and services acquisition
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelors degree and 8+ years’ experience in Procurement/Contract Management
- MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, CSMP, CPSM, IPSCMI, CIPP, CPPP, CISCP, CICCM, CIPN, CITLP, CISM, CMPO, or advanced procurement/supply chain qualification
- Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the aviation or related industry
- Source-to-Pay (S2P) procurement and contract management best practices
- Knowledge of relevant markets and categories for developing robust category strategies
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools
