Job Description

Salary Range: 32,000 AED to 34,000 AED Monthly


Training and Compliance

• Training Responsibilities:

Support in developing Programs by designing and digitalizing existing training material and courses.

Improve LMS navigation and provide robust user support to trainees.

Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving LMS-related issues.

Coordinate and track employee progress through certification initiatives.

Support continuous development through promoting ongoing learning and professional growth.

Support managing and maintaining the LMS to ensure a user-friendly experience for the trainers.

Streamline LMS workflows and ensure courses focus on delivering high-quality instruction.

Develop and implement processes that enhance the efficiency of training delivery.


Compliance Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance: Support ensuring training and certifications align with local and industry regulations (e.g., Emiratization).

Standards Adherence: Support ensuring training programs meet industry and certification standards.

Maintain records and report training/compliance status.

Regularly audit training programs for compliance and improvements.

Internal Policies: Align LMS training practices with organizational policies.

Key Compliance Areas:

Emiratization & Nationalization: Support UAE Nationals in line with nationalization goals.

Health & Safety: Incorporate relevant safety standards into training.

Data Protection: Assist in secure handling of LMS training and analytical data.


Collaboration and coordination:

Provide support in managing coordination with GCAA relevant departments/Sections reference LMS projects/ training requirements.

Provide support in managing and coordinating with ANS departments reference LMS projects/ training requirements.

Audits

Assist the Senior Manager ANS Training for all quality and audit-related issues.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Reporting

• Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.

Health, Safety and Environment within GCAA

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards

Other Tasks/ Accountability

• Perform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Education, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Learning Management Systems, preferably in the aviation or technical training sector.

• Strong understanding of LMS platforms, e-learning technologies, and best practices.

• Proven track record in streamlining administrative processes and enhancing user experiences.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with aviation industry standards and regulations.

• Experience in implementing LMS upgrades or migrations.

• Knowledge of instructional design principles and digital training content development.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) was created in 1996 by Federal Cabinet Decree (Law 4) to regulate Civil Aviation and provide designated aviation services with emphasis on safety and security and to strengthen the aviation industry within the UAE and its upper airspace. It is also a member of the Arab Civil Aviation Commission (ACAC) Executive Council, and currently H.E Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of GCAA.
