We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions from healthcare providers to confirm accuracy and suitability.
• Provide expert guidance and pharmaceutical advice to patients for proper medication use.
• Prepare and dispense medications ensuring all doses are accurately measured and packaged.
• Monitor patient records for potential drug interactions or allergic reactions and address issues.
• Maintain compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines governing pharmacy practice.
• Stay knowledgeable about new medications, research, and changes in drug therapy practices.
• Provide education and counseling to patients about their prescriptions and health conditions.
• Manage the inventory of medications and ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and accuracy in medications.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and junior pharmacists in daily tasks.
• Address and resolve patient queries and concerns regarding medication and treatments.
• Participate in community health initiatives and promote wellness through pharmacy services.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Pharmacist license must be up-to-date and valid.
• Extensive knowledge of medication management and pharmaceutical treatments is essential.
• Strong understanding and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in pharmacy practice.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients and providers.
• Capability to evaluate pharmaceutical research findings and apply to patient care practices.
• Experience with pharmacy management software and healthcare databases is highly desirable.
