Job Description

An Outdoor Sales Representative is a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is responsible for generating leads and closing sales by meeting prospective clients in person. This role involves extensive travel and requires a strong understanding of the product or service being offered. As the face of the company, the Outdoor Sales Representative builds and maintains relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. With exceptional communication skills, they are adept at presenting products and services in a compelling manner, addressing client concerns, and negotiating sales contracts. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, persuasive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting sales targets and contributing to the company’s growth.


Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients in assigned territory and conduct face-to-face meetings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to boost sales.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms of agreement with clients to maximize profits.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and answer any product-related queries customers may have.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently and reliably.
  • Generate and submit regular sales reports to management and provide feedback on market trends.
  • Utilize CRM software to track client interactions and sales performance metrics.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand client base.
  • Develop sales strategies and proposals that align with company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in an outdoor or field sales capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tracking tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
