The Global Total Rewards Director will lead the strategic design, development, and execution of the company’s global total rewards programs—including compensation, benefits, recognition, and well-being. This role will drive innovation across all elements of total rewards to ensure competitiveness, sustainability, and alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global rewards strategy, including experience with captives, and a proven ability to transform traditional programs into forward-thinking, employee-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Total Rewards Strategy & Leadership
Design and implement global total rewards programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent across diverse geographies.
Lead the integration of compensation, benefits, and recognition strategies to support business objectives and employee engagement.
Continuously evaluate and evolve total rewards offerings to ensure relevance, equity, and market competitiveness.
Innovation & Future-Focused Design
Identify and implement disruptive trends in total rewards, including digital solutions, flexible work benefits, and personalized reward models.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop holistic well-being and recognition strategies.
Champion a culture of innovation in rewards, prioritizing employee choice and experience.
Global Program Oversight
Lead global administration of total rewards programs, ensuring consistency while respecting local market needs.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to deliver high-value services.
Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive positioning.
Employee Engagement & Communication
Develop and execute communication strategies to educate and engage employees on total rewards offerings.
Partner with HR Business Partners and regional leaders to drive awareness and understanding of programs.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all total rewards programs comply with international, federal, and local regulations.
Establish governance processes to manage risk and uphold ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CCP, CEBS) preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in global total rewards leadership, including compensation and benefits strategy, with experience in captives and innovation.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of global compensation and benefits regulations, rewards financing, and risk management.
Leadership Skills: Strategic thinker with strong change management and leadership capabilities.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making.
