Job Description

An Office Services Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of office functions.   • Assist with meeting preparations, including setting up conference rooms and equipment.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as required.
  • Support office staff by undertaking various administrative duties when needed.
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience in the office.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs by liaising with relevant service providers.
  • Ensure that the office environment remains clean, organized, and conducive to productivity.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and other office activities.
  • Maintain updated records and documentation for easy retrieval and management.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and contributing ideas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Friendly demeanor and professional attitude when dealing with office visitors.
