Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure solutions efficiently and securely.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and integrity.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively and efficiently.
• Configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Provide technical direction and expertise to optimize network efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with other IT personnel and departments to resolve network issues and improve system performance.
• Conduct network performance tuning and capacity planning as required for new and existing projects.
• Manage security solutions, such as firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Document network problems and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement of the service.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Stay updated with emerging network technologies and propose responses to changes.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless updates and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, and system protocols.
• Excellent knowledge of network security practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and experience with network technology upgrades.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues accurately.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
