Music Producer For Mixing And Mastering

This role is ideal for an experienced music producer with a strong background in mixing and mastering across multiple genres, including dance, rock ballads, and country/Irish music. The project involves collaborating with an Irish traditional musician who has self-produced several tracks and is seeking professional support to elevate these recordings to a release-ready standard. The producer will be responsible for ensuring the final mixes are polished, balanced, and suitable for distribution or submission to publishers and other artists. The work is fully remote, and while this is a single project, there is potential for future collaboration based on the outcome.

Responsibilities

- Mix and master a selection of self-produced tracks, ensuring clarity, balance, and professional sound quality

- Collaborate closely with the musician to understand the artistic vision and genre-specific nuances

- Apply creative and technical expertise to enhance the overall sonic quality of each track

- Prepare final masters suitable for digital release and submission to publishers or artists

- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements where necessary

- Manage project timelines to deliver high-quality results within agreed deadlines

Skills and Requirements

- Proven experience in music production, specifically mixing and mastering for multiple genres (dance, rock ballads, country/Irish)
