Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Conceptualization

  • Develop and execute design concepts across digital, motion, and print mediums.
  • Create visually arresting ads, campaigns, and content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Produce and design for print and out-of-home campaigns, delivering flawless vendor-ready files.
  • Ensure all creative outputs feel globally aligned, aesthetically sharp, and culturally relevant.


Motion Design & Video Production

  • Edit video content ranging from fast-cut short-form edits to cinematic brand films.
  • Integrate motion graphics, animations, and special effects to elevate storytelling.
  • Explore and apply AI-powered creative tools (After Effects plugins, generative video, Blender, etc.).
  • Storyboard and animate to communicate and test creative strategies effectively.


Research & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of design and culture trends to keep GUGU’s creative output fresh and current.
  • Experiment with emerging creative technologies to push new forms of expression.
  • Continuously refine creative workflows for efficiency and impact.


Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the GUGU team to capture the brand’s energy, tone, and visual DNA.
  • Collaborate on campaign development, ensuring every design serves both brand and audience.
  • Share and pitch ideas in brainstorms, contributing to a creative culture of surprise and delight.

 

Job Specification

  • 2–4 years of proven experience as a multidisciplinary or motion designer in a creative agency or brand environment.
  • Expertise in motion graphics, video editing, and visual design.
  • Strong knowledge of print production, file prep, and vendor communication.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro); bonus if familiar with Blender or similar 3D tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced creative workflows.
  • Strong eye for composition, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to deliver bold, current, and high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
