As an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects that include MEP systems. This crucial position involves ensuring that all aspects of MEP work are executed effectively and efficiently, meeting the established specifications and standards. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, coordinating with other construction managers, architects, and contractors to seamlessly integrate MEP systems into the overall project goals. Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise MEP system installation activities to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare and manage project budgets related to MEP components and resources.
• Oversee the work of MEP contractors to ensure quality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to address MEP-related design issues.
• Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on all MEP worksites.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with state and local building codes and regulations.
• Review and approve MEP plans, drawings, and specifications before implementation.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP systems for functionality and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the MEP team and junior engineers.
• Coordinate the testing and commissioning of MEP systems upon project completion.
• Communicate progress updates to project managers and stakeholders effectively and timely.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the quality and efficiency of MEP installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in overseeing MEP installations and systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction safety standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills in a construction environment.
• Ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Certification in project management or relevant field is an added advantage.
