Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is the go-to person for all Dubai and other assigned regions related marketing matters and works closely with the rest of the teams in the Company, primarily Sales, Transformation Growth and extended Marketing teams, to develop and execute the strategic GTM plan, focusing on lead generation and nurturing existing customers. The role also requires the candidate to support the implementation and execution of the Events Strategy with operational and logistical excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the GTM plan, including:
  • End-to-end marketing campaign management (planning, execution, monitoring and reporting)
  • Foraging strategic partnerships, including trade associations, to promote Embed
  • Secure in-person or virtual speaking engagements, panel discussion, webinars and any other relevant opportunities to position Embed as a thought leader in the industry
  • Manage marketing budget
  • Work with internal stakeholders (such as Sales and the Transformation Growth team) to align and synergize GTM plans
  • Work with the Global Marketing Director to implement and execute Events Strategy including:
  • Manage calendar of events, including national & regional tradeshows and customer shows
  • Plan and execute end-to-end event logistics, including but not limited to tradeshow shipping, accommodation booking, managing deployment of brochureware & tradeshow trinkets, on-site activations such as happy hour and after-party and on-the-day event execution
  • Drive sign-ups of tradeshow meetings via 360 communication plan covering different customer segments (e.g.: 1st time FEC owners, FECs with competitor systems etc) through the pre-show and post-show consumer journey
  • Be on the look-out for relevant events and training seminars that Embed can be part of
  • Manage marketing collateral requests including:
  • Educate, guide and clarify stakeholders’ requests
  • Brief Creative, Digital and/or Social.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors to produce cost-effective collaterals


Required Skills and Expertise

  • High energy, fun and creative self-starter with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Impact player, exhibiting professional confidence
  • 5+ years of in-person and virtual event management and planning experience, at least some of which has been gained through large, tech events
  • Strong sense of curiosity and desire to learn
  • Extremely organised and pays close attention to details
  • Adaptable with a can-do approach to problem solving
  • Effective communication, partnership, and project management skills
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines and unexpected complexities can crop up
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment
  • Proficient in MS office and knowledge of Hubspot will be preferred
  • Able to work on occasion before/after official office hours to follow global office meetings.
