Job Description

A Recruitment Officer plays a vital role within the Human Resources department, primarily responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process. They are tasked with identifying, attracting, and sourcing potential candidates to fill various positions within the organization. As a key contributor to the HR team, a Recruitment Officer ensures that the hiring process is efficient and effective, aligning with the company's strategic goals and employment needs. They work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide guidance on best recruitment practices. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, and possesses a keen eye for talent.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates for vacancies.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring efficient scheduling.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' abilities, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Provide recommendations to hiring managers for final candidate selection decision-making.
  • Maintain recruitment databases and track progress of active job vacancies.
  • Participate in career fairs and other recruitment events to source qualified candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the hiring process.
  • Foster strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and job platforms.
  • Prepare and present reports on recruitment analytics and key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar HR role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously with precision.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations affecting recruitment.
