Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Assistant Vice President – Business Finance to serve as a strategic partner to the CXCG group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate and timely financials, analyzing performance drivers, overseeing financial controls, and supporting business planning and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical ability, leadership, and experience in stakeholder engagement across various business functions.

  • Serve as the Business Finance Partner to CXCG, providing monthly financial reports that highlight key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Present financial results and insights to senior management within RBG and participate in executive-level performance reviews.
  • Prepare monthly flash financials, ensuring their consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with RBG leadership to develop 3-year rolling Strategic Plans, which include segment, product, and channel-level financial forecasts.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor project cost controls and ensure financial discipline.
  • Represent the Finance Unit to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve internal controls, prevent revenue leakages, and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Manage cost control initiatives by overseeing overhead allocation and tracking expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Prepare and review cash flow forecasts and ensure effective cash management practices.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs, MIS reporting, and assist in decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Lead the preparation of Board reporting packs in collaboration with the CEO and senior management.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting across departments, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal deadlines.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and financial regulations.
  • Evaluate and strengthen internal financial controls and policies, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Train and develop finance team members, promote cross-training, and establish job rotation plans for continuity and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations relevant to the industry and stay informed of regulatory changes.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business finance, FP&A, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and business performance metrics.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
