We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Fintech to drive the design, architecture, and development of these solutions. This role requires hands-on engineering leadership and proven experience in building fintech systems, particularly lending platforms and credit-related solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of fintech solutions, with focus on lending platforms, credit scoring systems, invoice discounting, and payments.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, code standards, and system architecture principles.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers to deliver scalable and secure fintech products.
• Architecture & Development
• Own the technical architecture for Tradeling’s fintech platforms.
• Build and scale loan origination, loan management, and risk assessment systems.
• Integrate with banks, ERPs (NetSuite), credit bureaus, and payment gateways.
• Design secure APIs and microservices to support B2B financing operations.
• Security & Compliance
• Ensure solutions comply with CBUAE, KSA SAMA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 and global fintech standards.
• Implement KYC/AML flows and ensure data privacy and auditability of lending systems.
• Work closely with cybersecurity and compliance teams.
• Innovation & Delivery
• Introduce emerging technologies in AI-based credit scoring, fraud detection, and open banking APIs.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native and containerized solutions on AWS.
• Deliver solutions in an agile environment with speed and quality.
  
  

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  
  

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in fintech.
• Hands-on experience building fintech platforms like lending platforms, credit scoring systems, invoice discounting, or loan management solutions.
• Proven leadership experience as Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Engineering Manager in fintech.
• Strong backend engineering expertise in Node.js, Python or Golang.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Cloud-native experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Skills:
• Deep understanding of financial workflows, lending systems, and risk management processes.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and API-driven architectures.
• Effective communicator and leader with ability to align tech teams with business goals.

• Exposure to AI/ML for credit risk, fraud detection, or alternative scoring models.
