Job Description

As a Junior Manager in Finance Accounting, you will play an integral role in managing financial records, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial policies, and supporting the senior management in strategic financial planning. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial processes. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the financial accounting department.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports accurately on time.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation, both local and international.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial information.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes for the organization.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures to optimize the department's effectiveness.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and diligence.
  • Develop and maintain financial databases and records for accurate record-keeping.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement within the finance department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or a related area.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is considered an advantage.
