IT Project Manager (225-911)

An IT Project Manager plays a crucial role in leading and managing technology-related projects within an organization. This position requires a profound understanding of information technology and project management methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. The IT Project Manager oversees project scope, objectives, budget, resources, and timelines to ensure alignment with the business goals. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. The IT Project Manager is responsible for identifying potential risks, mitigating issues, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. An individual in this position is adept in various project management tools and techniques, enabling efficient project execution from inception to completion, thus contributing significantly to the organization's advancement and success in technology implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget constraints.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress effectively.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to assess progress.
• Report and escalate to management as needed regarding project risks and challenges.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential project risks and mitigate issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation is created, maintained, and reviewed consistently.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful project elements and areas for improvement.
• Support and guide project teams in planning, executing, and closing project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven working experience as an IT Project Manager in a relevant industry.
• Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Experience with various project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
