About Us

Collectively, the DESS family of schools is known as Dubai English Speaking Schools, consisting of two primary schools - DESS Primary Oud Metha and DESS Primary Academic City (opening September 2025) and one secondary school - DESS College, also based in Academic City, Dubai.

About The Role

We are seeking to recruit two PE and Sport Interns. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals taking a gap year either before or after university, who are keen to develop their skills in a sporting environment. One position will be based at DESS Oud Metha, and the other at DESS Academic City.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of physical education classes and extra-curricular sporting activities, both during and after school hours.

Assist and lead small groups as part of the schools swimming program.

Contribute positively to the day-to-day operations of the DESS Primary PE Departments.

Gain valuable experience in a fun, fast-paced school environment.

About You

A positive, energetic, and proactive attitude.

A willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team.

The ability to umpire, referee, or coach sports such as netball, football, and rounders would be an advantage.
