Insurance Consultant

An Insurance Consultant plays a pivotal role in advising clients on a range of insurance policies, tailored to meet their individual or business needs. This role involves understanding client requirements, assessing risk profiles, and recommending appropriate insurance products. The consultant also assists with policy renewals, claims, and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable, customer-focused, and skilled in both sales and advisory capacities.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored recommendations.

• Present and explain various insurance policy options including life, health, property, and vehicle.

• Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.

• Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals to prospective clients.

• Support clients through the application process and ensure timely issuance of policies.

• Manage renewals and policy modifications, ensuring continued client satisfaction.

• Assist clients with claim procedures and act as a liaison with insurers.

• Maintain detailed records of client communications, transactions, and renewals.

• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and regulatory changes.

• Meet sales targets and report performance metrics to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales or consultancy.

• Strong knowledge of insurance products and regulations in the UAE.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Strong sales and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office applications.

• Certification from an insurance authority (preferred).

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
