IMI CIB - Head Of IT - Dubai Branch

Scope and Purpose

• In coordination with Head Office IT Teams, responsible for the overall performance and availability of ICT within the reference geographical area (Dubai and Abu Dhabi branches in particular), and implementation of related policies and procedures
• Interface with Head Office IT Teams for the update, maintenance and running of the branches technical infrastructure: the core and global systems, the LAN, the Telecommunication and the outsourced ICT services for primary and secondary sites
• Manage functioning of Wide and Local Area Network as well as related hardware and software
• Support Cybersecurity initiatives and related tasks, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans in coordination with relevant teams
• In coordination with HAO, manage ICT supplies, logistics and ICT outsourced services, including IT budget and vendor relationship
• Report to HAO on all technology related issues including systems plan, budget, projects, performance, and other related matter, coordinating with Head Office IT and International depts.
• Manage and acts as first point of reference for IT audits, both internal and external
  
  

Required Experience

• 5 - 10 years of experience in the role is required
  
  

Required Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge

• Strong background in financial applications, systems, IT governance, and IT Cybersecurity regulations and standards in the Region
• Knowledge of local core system strongly preferred, such as AS 400
• Track record in ICT project realizations and IT Audit activities
• Bachelor or Master’s certifications
• Experience in Banking and Financial industry is preferred
• English Fluent
• Italian is a plus
