About The Job

As a Product Designer, you will take significant leadership on modules from start to finish.

You will have great latitude to identify opportunities, formulate research and design plans, execute those plans, and support dev of a finished product.

You will also take a leadership role within the design team, leveraging your strengths and passion to advance best practices across the other designers.

You hold the belief that good design plays a crucial part in solving any problem.

You understand that design encompasses more than just aesthetics, encompassing the evolution of every process. Even everyday tasks can be enhanced through thoughtful design, simplifying their execution.

With a deep appreciation for products and possessing strong creative abilities, you aspire to take ownership and responsibility for designing and guiding products to their final stage.

You value precision and detest icons that are not perfectly aligned on the grid.

Responsibilities

• Take part in product and design ideation, planning and prioritisation of our diverse range of products and features.
• Drive user research, create detailed user journeys and take appropriate design decisions backed by user behaviour and data.
• Define design strategies by analysing data models and derive best practices within the team.
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing and various Business teams to deliver delightful customer experiences.
• Strategize, develop and extend the visual design systems and pattern libraries by coming up with new and
  
  

innovative solutions which suit the brand.

• Take part in creative and holistic thinking across our diverse products and conduct design reviews and status meetings as needed.
• Evangelise design within and outside the organisation.
• Brainstorm and create new directions that Scrut can take in our quest to make payments easy and accessible to all.
• Effectively mentor and inspire a team of designers.
• Help the team in raising the bar, resolving blockers, prioritising and breaking down complex projects into simpler tasks.
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ Years of experience
• Proficiency with the latest tools to build design and a strong desire to learn new ones.
• Figma expertise is required.
• Effective prototyping skills.
• Des/M.Des is preferred
• A portfolio showing your high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work.
• Experience working and collaborating with teams with varied strengths in a multifaceted, rapid-growth environment.
• You understand the importance of behavioural analytics and you go by data-driven decisioning, when needed.
• A sound understanding of Frontend principles to guide the team from an engineering point of view.
• Ability to understand the short and long-term goals of the product and business.
