CAW Studios - Software Engineer - Node Js

Role

We are looking for Node.js developers with 1.5 to 5 years of experience to join our team. You will play a key role in building scalable backend systems, contributing to product development from scratch, and solving complex engineering problems. We value ownership, strong fundamentals, and smart design :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Build clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.
• Work on projects from scratch, setting up architecture and core modules.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless products.
• Debug, optimize, and improve system performance.
• Contribute to code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and team best practices.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud environments.
  
  

• Strong hands-on coding in Node.js, experience in building APIs, debugging, and delivering production-grade systems.
• Good experience in building products from scratch, strong DSA and LLD exposure, and ability to design smart, scalable systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js frameworks (NestJS/Express.js preferred).
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks for unit/integration testing.
• Bonus : Exposure to SaaS products, distributed systems, or system design.
