HVAC Technician (225-923)

As an HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of residential and commercial spaces. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will help ensure these systems operate efficiently and safely, providing optimal climate control for users. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be capable of diagnosing and addressing various HVAC issues. Additionally, strong customer service skills are essential to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships with clients. This position requires knowledge of various HVAC systems and compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings following safety protocols.
• Conduct regular maintenance to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems to identify faults or inefficiencies.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore system functionality.
• Advise clients on energy efficiency and system upgrades for better performance.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and manufacturers’ instructions for HVAC installations.
• Perform emergency repairs quickly to restore customer comfort and safety.
• Educate clients on system operations and best practices for HVAC upkeep.
• Comply with local HVAC codes and regulations for installations and repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve complex HVAC issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.
• Certification in HVAC systems or related field is highly desired.
• Solid experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems and units.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose HVAC issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team.
