As an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and welfare of employees, the environment, and company operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies. You will work closely with a variety of teams to identify risks, conduct audits, and provide training and support. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies and programs.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify risks and non-compliance issues.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to integrate HSE measures into daily operations.
• Provide training and education to employees on HSE best practices and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate safety standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Investigate workplace incidents or accidents to determine their causes and prevention strategies.
• Generate detailed reports on HSE performance and suggest areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with government and regulatory bodies on HSE compliance and reporting requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigative actions to alleviate potential hazards.
• Develop and execute emergency response plans and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with environmental conservation teams to drive sustainable business practices.
• Promote a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility among all staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field.
• Proven experience working as an HSE Engineer or similar role with at least 3 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with strong organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication skills for conducting training sessions and preparing reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
