Job Description

The HR & Recruitment Officer plays a pivotal role in aligning an organization’s human capital with its strategic goals. This position involves managing the entire recruitment process, from identifying and attracting potential candidates to onboarding new hires. The officer is also responsible for building and maintaining excellent employer branding and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor regulations. As a key component of the HR department, this role supports workforce planning initiatives and implements effective, diverse recruitment strategies to meet current and future staffing needs. The ideal candidate is an adept communicator, highly organized, and possesses an analytical mindset to handle data-driven recruitment approaches. Additionally, the HR & Recruitment Officer will foster a collaborative working environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive job analyses and write detailed job descriptions for new openings.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to attract top talent from diverse candidate pools.
  • Partner with department managers to forecast workforce needs and plan recruitment efforts efficiently.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems to ensure streamlined recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions to onboard new employees effectively and smoothly.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with educational institutions, recruitment agencies, and other partners.
  • Advocate and implement best practices for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage recruitment budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects to support organizational HR goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least three years of experience in recruitment or human resources management roles.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software for recruitment and onboarding.
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and employment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple recruitment projects.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to refine and improve recruitment strategies continuously.
