Job Description

The HR Manager position is a pivotal role in any organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. As an HR Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring that HR policies and procedures are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, promoting corporate values, and enabling business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, and talent management. This role requires a nuanced understanding of employee relationships, labor laws, HR policies, and a capacity for implementing strategic initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture. You will be the bridge between senior management and employees, making communication and advocacy key components of the job. The HR Manager will lead a team of HR professionals, requiring exceptional leadership and organizational skills, and act as the custodian of the organization’s human capital.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or issues.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements with accuracy.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain quality employees.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures smoothly.
  • Support and advise managers on performance and effectiveness-related issues.
  • Nurture positive working relationships to boost morale and productivity throughout.
  • Ensure legal compliance through human resource management processes and audits.
  • Design and implement employee benefits plans that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage the organization's payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Ensure HR initiatives support business needs and act as a consultant to managers.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve employee skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Executive, or a similar role.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and familiarity with HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and strong organizational and people skills.
  • Experience with HR software systems and proficient in using MS Office.
  • Ability to strategize and align HR goals with overall business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ethical mindset.
