Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department in a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position serves as a valuable point of contact for employees, assisting with payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and facilitating communication among team members. The HR Assistant aids in recruitment processes, helps coordinate new hire orientations, and ensures compliance with labor laws by updating and maintaining HR data systems. An organized and resourceful professional, the HR Assistant helps to improve HR system efficiency and contributes significantly to maintaining a productive workplace environment. This role is perfect for those who are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and an interest in human resource functions.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks of the HR functions.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes including posting job openings and screening candidates.
  • Maintain employee records accurately, ensuring all databases are up-to-date.
  • Support employee onboarding programs and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Prepare HR documents and oversee the distribution of company policies.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistical planning of employee training sessions.
  • Responsible for updating job descriptions and organizational charts.
  • Compile reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover and retention rates.
  • Address employee queries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other issues.
  • Assist in the processing of monthly payroll and handle related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to organize social events and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience working in an administrative role, preferably within HR.
  • Solid understanding of human resource and labor legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
