The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and organizing guestrooms and public areas efficiently. Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms, ensuring high hygiene standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries daily.
Organize and stock housekeeping carts with adequate supplies and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Restock guest rooms with amenities such as toiletries, minibar items, and coffee supplies.
Respond promptly to guest requests, respecting all privacy and security measures.
Inspect all vacated rooms to ensure standards are met before guest check-in.
Adhere to health and safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information and hotel property.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
Perform deep cleaning of rooms and public areas as part of regular rotation duties.
Assist with linen inventory by counting and sorting linens accurately.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; prior cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms meet cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow instructions and efficiently complete tasks independently.
Good interpersonal communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
