Job Description

The Head of Creative is a pivotal leadership role within an organization, responsible for overseeing the creative services department and guiding the creative vision to deliver innovative and compelling content. As the Head of Creative, you will set the strategic direction for all creative outputs, ensuring alignment with the business’s objectives while maintaining the integrity and uniqueness of the brand. Your role involves collaboration across various departments to drive creative processes and ensure a cohesive approach to branding and marketing. You will lead a team of talented creatives, including designers, writers, and other creative professionals, fostering an environment that encourages creativity, professional development, and high-quality output. The role requires a mix of strategic thought leadership, creative expertise, and strong managerial skills to inspire a culture of innovation and excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the creative vision and strategy for the organization.
  • Lead and manage the creative team to deliver high-quality, innovative content.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Set project priorities and delegate tasks to team members to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee creative projects from inception to completion, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to creative staff to foster their professional growth.
  • Work with external partners and agencies to enhance the creative output.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to bring fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Present creative concepts and solutions to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all projects.

  • Manage resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming creative projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a creative leadership role mandatory.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a creative team successfully.
  • Exceptional visual and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Proficient with industry-standard design software and creative tools required.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize creative performance.
