A Fuel Station Supervisor is a vital role responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a fuel station. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the fuel station, ensuring efficiency.
  • Manage and supervise station staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Monitor fuel inventory levels and reorder stock to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and daily sales reports.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of station facilities and forecourt areas.
  • Implement promotional activities and monitor their effectiveness in boosting sales.
  • Train new staff members on station operations, safety procedures, and customer service.
  • Operate and troubleshoot fuel dispensing and payment systems efficiently.
  • Inspect the station infrastructure regularly to maintain safety and operational standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to establish good working relationships.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail or service environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and practices related to fuel handling.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems.
  • Problem-solving skills with a customer-centered approach to service delivery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certification is a plus.
