Forklift Operator (225-925)

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods within our warehouse or production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts and other machinery to transport items safely and securely in compliance with safety and operational standards. You will be pivotal in maintaining inventory accuracy by efficiently managing incoming and outgoing shipments. A successful Forklift Operator must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the skill to maneuver high-tech forklift equipment with precision. Team collaboration and effective communication skills are also essential, as you will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to streamline warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Carefully operate forklift equipment to move goods around the warehouse.
• Ensure accuracy and safety when loading and unloading goods and materials.
• Inspect forklifts before use to ensure operational safety and performance.
• Maintain clean work areas to promote a safe and organized warehouse environment.

• Handle equipment maintenance and report faults for timely resolutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred for this role.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklift machinery.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination for operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
