Job Description
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department in a hospitality establishment. This includes managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train food and beverage staff, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Assist in menu planning and pricing to optimize customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations in all food and beverage areas.
- Assist in the development and implementation of promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and regulations.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
