Your Role: Finance Manager 

Reporting Line: Directly to the CEO and COO.

Contract Type: Permanent 

Start date: Immediate 

Scope & Impact:

As Finance Manager, you’ll take full ownership of financial operations across all six divisions of Hero Experiences Group, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and strategic insights that support growth. This is a highly influential role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s financial future.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead All Financial Operations: Oversee daily financial functions across all divisions, including payroll, AR/AP, general ledger, taxation, and treasury management.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
• Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, aligning resources with company growth objectives.
• Process & Systems Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and strengthen internal controls.
• Audit & Compliance Oversight: Manage external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Business Partner to Leadership: Work directly with the CEO and COO to provide financial strategies, support operational decisions, and help steer expansion initiatives. 
• Team Management: Supervise, mentor and provide performance feedback to accounting staff to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with external institutions including banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other financial or regulatory bodies. Manage banking relationships and ensure the company’s financing needs are met efficiently.

What we are looking for: 

• Extensive Experience: 10+ years in finance, with at least 4 years in a senior finance or leadership role.
• Systems Expertise: Strong knowledge of major ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Clear Communicator: Skilled at explaining complex financial matters to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on operations.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel is advantageous.
