Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in the financial health and stability of an organization. They are responsible for directing financial planning and budgeting, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring adherence to legal and financial regulations. This position requires a strategic thinker who can offer insights into managing financial risks and advising senior executives on long-term and short-term financial goals. Responsibilities

  • Analyze company financial performance and provide detailed monthly reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines to prevent any legal implications.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and propose the best options to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance skills and performance levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage financial commitments and achieve objectives.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
  • Optimize cost management processes to increase overall financial efficiency.
  • Advise executives on financial trends and business forecasts to facilitate informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and proficiency in financial analysis software.
  • Proven experience with financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and high-level problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Professional qualifications like CFA, CPA, or ACCA would be an added advantage.
