Job Description

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization. Your responsibilities will involve preparing financial reports, managing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with the finance team to support the day-to-day financial management, ensuring that our financial infrastructure is robust and efficient. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in assisting with budget preparation and audits. By supporting senior finance personnel, you will gain valuable experience in financial planning and analysis, contributing to the overall financial health and growth of our company.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial documents for management and external stakeholders' review.
  • Reconcile company accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation according to company policies.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Support the financial team in budget development and forecasting activities.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports and presentations for management meetings.
  • Conduct research on financial discrepancies and report findings to senior finance staff.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
  • Coordinate with different departments to facilitate accurate reporting and reconciliations.
  • Help prepare for annual audits by organizing necessary documentation and records.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed for efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a financial or accounting role for at least one year.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and financial software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively report to the finance team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
