Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and ensure all facilities are fully functional.
Develop and implement maintenance plans for facility-related equipment.
Manage the budgeting for building maintenance and upgrading projects.
Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and laws.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors.
Coordinate space planning and management to optimize usage effectively.
Ensure safety procedures and emergency plans are clearly communicated.
Report on facilities' operations performance to senior executives regularly.
Lead a team of facilities staff, providing training and development opportunities.
Oversee and negotiate service agreements with contractors and service providers.
Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs effectively.
Respond promptly to emergencies and take swift action to resolve issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in facilities management roles.
Strong knowledge of construction, maintenance, and environmental health standards.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing diverse teams.
Effective negotiation skills and experience with vendor management.
Proficient understanding of financial management principles and budgeting processes.
Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks under deadline.
