Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician role is crucial within our operations, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems to ensure operational excellence and safety. Responsibilities

• Utilize technical manuals and schematics for equipment repair and maintenance.

• Provide support for installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues.
• Implement continuous improvement methods to enhance mechanical systems performance.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and unscheduled maintenance tasks.

• Train and coach junior technicians to develop their skills and competencies.

Requirements

• Completion of a technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar technical role required.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and mechanical repair equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
